Pinay is the Tagolog word which means Filipina. Pinoy is a man, a Cebuana is a woman from Cebu island and Cebuano
designates a man from there. There a number of words used in the P.I. with Spanish origin so follow that simple rule of 'a' is
feminine nouns and 'o' is masculine so as not to confuse any locals if & when you want to ask about a person, otherwise you may end
up asking about their gay friend or something like that...It's quite funny to read or hear some ignorant foreigner (male) say he is
married to a Cebuano...on second thought maybe that's what this person meant to say!!!???
Pinays are in my view are some of the finest ladies the world has to offer. Why do I think so?
It's a combination of factors, an attractive Filipina, who is as beautiful as any woman on the planet. From a physical standpoint
Pinays are multiethnnic, a
combination of the majority Malay ethnicity (keep in mind that the Pilippines is a multiethnic country), minority, Spanish and
Chinese blood, besides those who may be part white or black (American). Malay might not be the right term but the CIA's website
claims the majority of people of the P.I. to be Malay. Anyway that multiethnic background contributes to the good looks
of many Filipinas and many have very nice figures and compared to most Asians, longer legs, nice eyebrows and lashes
and rounder eyes. Many Pinays have very nice skin! There are a number of Chinays (I think I made up this word), Chinese+
Pinay mixes who look like mixed Chinese women in the P.I.
Different strokes for different folks. The
main thing I adore in many Pinays is a great sense of humor. Filipinas love a guy who can make them laugh and that's one of
my specialities it's a good fit for my personality. Love of family, humility, laid-back attitude, values and belief in God seals the
deal for me, almost!Why did it take me so long to wake up to the beauty of the Pinays?! Good question, my half-brother Kosuke was married to one so I was somewhat exposed. I think in his case it wasn't a suitable match and he and his former wife, unfortunately, got divorced with two lovely kids, my nephew Riki and niece Patty. In my case there simply was a lack of chances of meeting attractive Filipinas which changed as recently as the year Y2K. But of course as with anything there is the good, the bad and the ugly.
Many Pinays are naive and end up getting pregnant by "butterfly" types (y'know, guys who go from flower to flower!). To me this is
a serious problem which should be addressed by government officials because it puts the burden on the Pinay to raise and be
caretaker for many families after these lame lovers / husbands / fathers just go off and leave the families they've created. This
cycle makes the Pinay vulnerable to smooth talking, smooth operator-types who, for whatever reason, decide that they will have
babies with a woman then up and leave for "other" opportunities. Don't get me wrong it's not always the guy's fault, some ladies
mistakenly believe many of their problems will be solved by having a baby. Many Pinays are insecure, even the most beautiful,
which is no different from other countries, not really realizing how gorgeous they are and this often plays into the hands of these
SOs (smooth operators). Stay strong my sisters, there are worthy guys out there trying to meet a girl just like you! Pinoys, be a
father to your child, it takes a man to raise a child, not to make one. Peace!I'll add some more comments on Pinays later including more fotos.
