Ryukyu is a very beautiful place and consists of a number of islands and islets. I was only able to visit the main island, although it's only about 60 miles from the northernmost point of Cape Hedo to the very south, Cape Kyan. The largest city is the prefectural capital, Naha, which suffers from some major traffic problems.
